Leigh, born in Woodsfield, OH,
Went to be with the Lord on Sept. 21, 2015. Christina was loving and compassionate. She is survived by her husband, Jim; and sons, Caden and Jace; her parents and family. A celebration of her life will be held at 14400 Gulf Blvd., Madeira Beach, at Sunset 6:30 pm, Oct 6th. Pastor Corry officiating.

Four years have passed by without you Chrissy and it has been difficult. Time goes by but the pain of you passing will always be here. Time is a healer but we will never forget you. Caden and Jace carry your badge pins on there Boy Scout uniforms so you are close to them always during their scouting events and we have pictures of you in our house. Sat the 21st of September 2019 was a beautiful day and we had balloons for you at your favorite Madeira beach.

We had an awesome 2018 Christmas in Woodsfield, Ohio. This time was the best as we spent wonderful moments with all our Family, the Nixons, Mamaw, Namee, the Jorris's + the newly weds! (with a baby boy on the way). We experienced a little snow, brought Zigzag with us and he was a hit (he is a road warrior for the 2600 miles we drove) We spent New Years in Lake Lure, N.C. with the Sciandra's and Bariteaus climbed Chimney rock and loved the Log Cabin that James bought on the Lake. We have been very busy in the new year as is expected with Scouts etc. Caden graduated from cub scouts to Boyscouts with an Arrow of Light Award. Caden turned 11 with a fun party with 11 of his friends 6 for a sleep over. Caden and Jace are doing well in school with honor rolls. Math and fractions are tough but they are getting it little by little. On a sad note Mamaw broke her hip in a fall that happened in January she returns home February 6th and a friend of mine Jim Elbakkali passed away last week with a heart attack in his late 40s leaving behind a wife and three kids at Plato academy. He was a good friend and we know that he is in Heaven with you and all of our Loved ones passed and dearly missed. I still can't believe your gone, but, know this, you are strong in my heart and mind with Love always.

We are now two days away from Thanksgiving 2018. Caden and Jace received their first semester report cards. Caden made the honor roll and Jace missed it by a C in math. That Common core system is causing so much confusion it is making math miserable for Jace. Jace received 6-A's 2-B's and one C. Caden got accepted on the Plato St Pete Flag Football team and Zig is beautiful and about 90lbs now. This week we are going to Chars for Thanksgiving dinner and heading up to Ohio for Christmas. Maybe we will see some snow? We wish you were here, but, know that you are with us always! Love your boys.

Three years ago today! So sad, but, we are healing. This last June we went on a 4000 mile trip up north. We visited Uncle Charlie, Gabe, Eli, Heze and Lyra in Tallahassee. We then went to visit Uncle John in GA and when we left it started to rain more intense as time went by about an hour later I told Caden and Jace that I could not drive any longer due to my lack of visibility so I needed to pull over an wait the storm out. 15 to 20 minutes later the rain started to let up and we looked at the street sign and it read CHRISSY DRIVE!!! We drove to the next road and it was named Rainy Road we turned right (following GPS) and a mile or two down this road there was a major accident with a fatality. Thank you, for the insight. School has started Caden is in 5th grade and Jace is in 4th. Jace turned 9 on 8/11/18 and we had a Victory Royale Sleepover party Game night fun... PS4, Nintendo switch, 3DS and kindle gamers galore. They had a blast. Liam O, Christopher M, Jonah G, Artie, Caden and Jace. They are growing fast and in the blink of an eye. My garden was a partial success with so much rain this year blew up several of my watermelons, and most of my tomatoes. My sweet potatoes are awesome!!! Looking forward to December with another All Pro Dads Spaghetti dinner and Christmas in Ohio! God Bless us one and all!

Caden and Jace graduated to the next grade in school. Jace to 4th grade and Caden to 5th grade. They have also advanced in Cub scouts as well. Jace is now in Webelos 1 and Caden is in arrow of light Webelos 2. Caden and Jace are now exploring their PS4 and Nintendo switch's they got for Christmas and are big in Fortnite and Mindcraft as well as Mario brothers and Pokemon.
We left St Pete on June 21 headed to Tallahassee to visit Charlie then Friday left Tally to visit Syd (Uncle Johns wife who had an aneurysm a few months back. She was well and appeared 100%. We visited about and hour then left to head to Ball Ground GA to visit and stay with Lynette and Paul Friday. It started to rain as we left Syds and gradually the rain intensified within an hour that I had to turn off the main road to wait until the rain subsided. It was like a rain whiteout as I could not see 10 feet in front of me. I pulled into a subdivision and turned around then waited at the stop sign until the rain let up. 15 minutes later we were ready to leave and noticed that the street name we had stopped and turned into was CHRISSY DRIVE! Thank you! As we left your street and got back on track with the GPS a few miles up the street Rainey Road there had been a horrible accident. We are blessed to have you as our Angel but Miss you everyday.
We are now on vacation in Ohio and Caden and Jace are having a blast.
We got here about 10:30 pm Saturday June 23rd and were notified that your Great Uncle Gerald Nixon had died and hour earlier. We will pay our respects.

Cadees riddle for the day "what flies but does not have wings"? Time! Flying by it was just January, Cadens Birthday, January we passed out all of the books to the teachers at Plato from the Spaghetti Dinner Fund raiser we had on December 5th. February we went to the All Pro Dads 4 day camping trip which credited Caden and Jace towards their Scouts Achievements and awards. We also made pinewood derby cars for Caden and Jace and they each placed second in their respective Dens. Jace is a Bear and Caden is a Webelo.February 10th Daniel got Married to Deanna. March 3rd, April got married to David Willis now its almost mid April. Well Caden and Jace have been doing great in School. March went by in a blink! April 1st was Easter, April 7th we took a Picture with Coach Tony Dungy at an All Pro Dad's event at Raymond James Field in Tampa and now we are getting ready for the District Pinewood derby races next weekend. They are now going through state FSA testing at school and working towards the last day of school around May 25th. Life is hard without you but the boys are constant reminders to all of us of your beautiful light you shared with us! God Bless! Thaught I saw you at the school the other day with one foot on the school step!

Caden's 10th birthday on the 10th of January ( a golden one it was) The party was a success! 12 boys were here and 11 stayed all night. They had nerf war capture the flag games from 7pm until 5:30am. I set up the tents about 6am had breakefast (french toast and eggs ready at 7:30am and they wre at it again until 9:30 when it became to cold for them all. They then came in a played video games until parents picked them up around 12 noon. Whew it took me three days to recover! We missed your presence but appreciated the reprieve in rain before the party started. It was dry enough tomake for an awesome setting. Their was not a peep heard from any of our neighbors all night! Whew another blessing. The next party to come is Jaces 9th...

The APD All Pro Dad's Spaghetti dinner was a success! $700 towards books for Plato Academy St Pete campus. We should be moving into a new campus next year with alot of work and effort it is coming true! We miss you everyday!

The 21st of September we celebrate your life lived and mourn your passing breath. I have a deep hole in my heart for your passing, but know that you provided me with two beautiful boys Caden 9 and Jace 8 that remind me of you in so many ways every day.
Your brother Brad texted me that he found TODAY an electronic game of Cadens (3-DS) with jaces name on the game chip inside. We have been looking for that game for some time and of all days for it to be found! TODAY WOW you are with us in spirit! I only WISH that you were physically here with us. August 10th School started and we are off to the races again. I am still recuperating from a car accident in April. I am getting PT each week but my left arm and elbow are in pain. Caden and Jace are growing in the blink of an eye. Both boys are in the gifted program at school as you know they have followed your path in academics.
Chrissy Nixon Sciandra, two years ago you passed away and left Caden, Jace and I physically in this world. We miss you, but, will never forget you.Say hello to all of those that have passed as well and drop by sometime and pay us a visit because I know that all things are possible with God! Rest in peace with love from us!

School is out for the summer. Caden and Jace both made the honor roll. I am so proud of them! Zig zag is 4 months old today, 35 lbs and healthy. Zig loves digging holes everywhere there is dirt, potted plants included! The boys made you cards for Mothers day with your Mom. Crafty and glittery they are. May 17th the boys graduated with Rank and My Mom and your Mom and Steve were there to celebrate along with Charlene and Gio and Charlie and Elijah. They all had a great time. We miss your presence and talk about you often.

Caden and Jace got their school portraits, report cards (Honor roll each) and a Golden retriever puppy that they named Zigzag cosmo dinozzo. Your Mammaw influenced the zigzag name by telling Caden that her first dog was named Ziggy. Caden originally picked Cosmo but likes zigzag better and the breeder gave Zigzags litter the theme name from NCIS and dinozzo was available. Ha funny story it is. He was born on 1/25/17 and is 24 lbs now. Looks like he will be a big one. Oh the most interesting story was when we were driving back from Deland Fl to pick him up we got a call from Charlene stating that a 30 lb bag of golden retriever PUPPY Food was dropped off to her in Lutz Fl. Thank you! We miss you very much! Caden and Jace will be receiving many cub scout awards in May and are promoted to the next pack each!

Jace AND Caden started Piano lessons again this time with a full time piano teacher Ms. Jenny. Ms. Jenny says that they both have talent but that Jace picks it up fast and has a good ear. She says that he appears to trend towards playing Jazz. Interesting as that was Papa Sciandra's favorite music and that since high school he played the bass fiddle then violin.

Caden Jace and I fixed the neighbors concrete Bird Bath that was broken by some kids having fun. We epoxy sealed the pieces and then painted it white!!! Good as almost new.

March 30th we completed the March book reports Jace and Caden got help from Uncle BB Spring. They turned them in Friday the 31st and received their report cards for the 3rd semester. Both Caden and Jace received Honor roll certificates. Jace had a sleep over at his best friends house Christopher Mulheisen and had a blast. We are enjoying the rest of the weekend off with an additional playdate Sunday here at the house. Luke Cadens soccer buddy and his brother Austin are coming over.
The weather has been comfortable low 80s daytime high 60s at night. Windows are still opened. We miss you but know where you are. Keep in touch! Love your boys and me.
