Passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch, age 88. She had lived in West Branch since 1949, formerly of Flint. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women and the Retired Teachers Association.
Mrs. Gingrich is survived by her children, Donna (Dave) DeWit of Morton Grove, IL, Nancy (Brent) Chagnon of West Bloomfield and James (Debby) Gingrich of Cedar Springs, grandchildren; Jenny (Tim), Lynette (Jason), Joe (Jamie), Julie, Aaron and Peter and a great-grandson, Jackson. Also surviving is her brother, Ron (Pat) Rau of Standish and her sister, Joanne Jensen of Lapeer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1996.
Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 1-9 p.m., with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
