The last poem that I wrote to her last year on our anniversary.

I couldn't find a card that said just what I wanted to say,
So I had to make my own for this special day.
I love you just as much today,
As I did when I tried to say,
Will you be my wife,
and be with me all of my life?
We knew that we could make it last,
But who knew that time would go so fast?
I gave my word to you my dear,
and now we celebrate our 56th year.
