Christine Marguerite Roth, nee Oscarson, 85, of Littleton, CO, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully in daughter's home (Linda, Littleton, CO) on Wednesday August 4, 2004. She was born in Upsala, Sweden on March 13, 1919. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Donald A. Roth (deceased 2002). Cherished mother of Donald R. (Nancy) of Lincolnshire, IL, Craig of Littleton, CO, Linda Roth Van Dyke of Littleton, CO and Richard (Pige) of Aurora, CO; loving grandmother of Donald (Jeanne) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Eric of New York City, NY, Kerstin Van Dyke Woods (Tyler Woods) of Long Beach, CA and Carolyn of Boston, MA; many other friends and family. Even while raising four children, she worked full time at the Arvey Corporation for 23 years and when asked what other activities you were involved with, her famous quote was ''raising four children and work, you got to be kidding.'' Memorial services are pending in Colorado. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, October 8 at 4 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Lincolnshire, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
