NORFOLK'Christopher W. Bixby 37, of Norfolk and a former Franklin resident, died Wednesday Jan. 14., in Norfolk. He was the beloved husband of Michelle L. (DeLuca) Bixby. Born in Natick, January 6, 1972 a son of Patricia A. (Flynn) Bixby of Norfolk and the late H. 'Wayne' Bixby, he had been a resident of Norfolk for many years. He was raised and educated in Norfolk and Franklin schools and was a 1990 graduate of Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School in Franklin. Mr. Bixby was the president and owner of B&B Seamless Gutters, where he worked along with his brother installing gutters and downspouts on many area homes and businesses. A devoted and loving husband, he enjoyed spending all of his time with his wife and children, his friends and enjoyed all sports. He was a tee-ball coach and soccer coach for the town of Norfolk and also had been a supporter of numerous leagues and charities in the town of Norfolk. Chris was a beloved and cherished husband, father, brother and son. He was Michelle's bestfriend, and exemplary Dad to his children and caring uncle to his nieces and nephew. Chris was a kind, loving and generous friend to all, admired by his family and many friends for his constant loyalty and support. Chris was a professional and courteous in his work ethic carrying on his Dad's legacy. He will be missed more than anyone can imagine. Chris was proud to have been able to donate the services of his company and crew to the 'Extreme Home Makeover' house that was built in Medfield. In addition to his wife of 11 years and his mother, he is survived by his children Brian C. Bixby, Matthew W. Bixby and Alyssa R. Bixby all of Norfolk, a brother Jeffrey W. Bixby and his fianc' Kendra Coughlin of North Attleboro, his maternal grandmother Helen J. (Hesek) Flynn of Natick and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew. He is also survived by his in-laws Frank J. and Janet R. (Colella) DeLuca Jr. of Norfolk, his sister-in-law Charlotte M. DeLuca of Norfolk, a brother in law Frank J. DeLuca III and his wife Courtney of Uxbridge. Also surviving are his godchildren Toni M. Stula, Frankie J. DeLuca 4th, Logan Manning and Brooke Cerbrowski. He was the grandson of the late Howard W. and Meribah (Mead) Bixby and Leo A. Flynn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Tuesday Jan. 20th, at 10AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin (www.oterifuneralhome.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Jude Church 86 Main St. Norfolk, at 11AM. Burial will follow in Norfolk Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday Jan. 19th, from 3-7PM. If lieu of flowers donations in his memory sent to the Bixby Children's Fund C/O Dean Bank 21 Main St. P.O. Box 307 Franklin, MA 02038 would be appreciated.
