Christopher Bonds Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 26, 2024.
Christopher R. Bonds of Leander, Texas left this world but not our hearts on October 29, 2020. Chris was born in Houston, Texas on September 13, 1980 and was raised in Round Rock with his family, where he was an avid computer nerd, coin collector, and lover of cars. His genius computer skills landed him very successful IT positions across the Austin area. He will be remembered for his sarcastic wit, quiet strength, and gentle soul.

Christopher is preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa M. Hopkins, grandmother, Susan R. Bonds, grandfather, Wesley H. Bonds, and his beloved dogs, Dexter and Pepsi. He is survived by his proud younger siblings, Danielle Bonds, Natalie Hopkins, and Steven Hopkins, his stepfather, Kenneth Hopkins (Karol), his loving aunt, Allison Thomspon, uncles, Kenneth Bonds and Kimbal Thompson, cousin, Andrew Thompson, the family pets, Cody, Sasha, and Pistachio, and many friends and colleagues who all loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher's memory may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.

A special thank you is extended to Christopher's friends at Floor King in Austin.

Chris is now further survived by his darling little niece, Shelby Vanessa Loper, who was welcomed into the world and has melted our hearts since April 29, 2024. We promise to teach Shelby all about her incredible uncle, and she will always know how much you would have loved her if you were still here with us. We miss you every day.
