I was so shocked to hear about Chris. Lived right down below me and I just found out about it today which is May 5th. I hated to hear that so sad it breaks my heart he was such a kind and gentle soul. May God bring peace to his family as they think about all the good memories that they had with him. He was a very special person who will never be forgotten. ❤

We will miss your sweet smile and wonderful spirit. Our hearts will always hurt. Prayers for this precious family and more prayers to help them deal with the coming years. You had so much love and we wish we could turn back time.

I was in the cohort with Chris in the masters of counseling program through Lindsey Wilson College. The first night of orientation he made the biggest impression on me with his friendly smiling face and welcoming personality. He was the first one of my peers there that night that I struck up a conversation with. Throughout school he always kept that smile and there was never a dull moment when Chris was around. He will truly be missed.

As I sit trying to pick out my outfit to come see you I cant help but feel confused. We werent suppose to have to do this. We were suppose to dance at my wedding, you were suppose to meet my babies and be their uncle Chris. I was going to bug you all the way into our old age and you were going to like it. We were suppose to jump waves at the beach again and sing jimmy buffet songs with Malibu and pineapple juice in our cups.

I will forever feel your hole in my life but I am so happy youre no longer suffering. The pain is gone. You are free. I love you Christopher Brooks.

I will always remember Christopher in daycare. He was such a precious little boy. I know they say you shouldn't have favorites but he was definitely one of mine. I loved my little red head man! I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. ❤

Brenda and family, I wish words could ease the pain. God's prayers and Love will be there for you, I know Chris is with the Father,SON,and Holy Ghost. The Angels are holding him!!

Brenda, Mike, and Tonia, we are so sorry for your loss. Chris was a fun guy to be around. I will always remember him and others being in our Youth Group at Atkins First Church of God. This was a very special group that we had. Chris always had something funny and sometimes serious comments to add to our lessons. I will never forget when I had surgery done and Chris and Amanda came to visit me at home and brought me some ice cream and just sat and talked and we laughed together. That meant so much that they cared enough to come and see me for awhile. He was a funny person to be around.
Brendahe loved you and Mike and he loved his sisterTonia too. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know. Our prayers will be with you all. Just remember God can and will carry you thru this sad time in your lives. We love you and are praying for you all.

We pray that God opens your hearts and comforts you in such a time as this. Only His love, grace, and mercy can give strength that will endure. Lean into Him and allow Him to take your sorrow and fill you in this time of need. May His Spirit be full in you in the days ahead, giving you confidence and peace.

Momma Brooks: I love you and your family, and all of Chris and I's wonderful friends so much. I'm struggling to find words here, as many of us are, but he was the brightest star in the sky and the biggest ray of sunshine in my soul. Please let me know how I can love you all the most during this time.

Chris was such a bright presence. He will be greatly missed.

Chris was a wonderful young man. He always had a smile on his face. I loved seeing him at Ingles when he worked there and I never saw him that he didn't ask about Kelsey, may daughter. He was a joy to know.

Ive known your family for about 20 years, since Tonia and I became friends in Girl Scouts, from working with her at CVS. Thats how I knew Chris. He was such a funny guy, you couldnt help but smile and laugh when he was around! I am so sorry for the pain that yall are going through and Im praying for you with love!

So truly sorry to say goodbye to one of the most wonderful young men that I have ever met. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. I am honored to say that I knew him. When I first met him he was working at Ingles and I liked him right away for he always had a smile on his face and good things to say to everyone that came through his line. He had a way of making you feel comfortable in his presence and a light in his soul that made you feel happy with a simple smile. Heaven just gained a very special angel. Blessings to the family.

I met Chris through Donna the first year that she held Beau's Bands for her organization. From the first moment it was nothing but smiles and laughter until my face hurt. Although hundrends of miles away the friendship grew. His smile was contagious and his laughter infectious. He was and always will be a light in this world. Chris had a smile that would light up a room. My youngest son was part of the prom group of 2012. Chris cracked me up during a painting project for Beau's Army. He was such a wonderful young man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
