Christopher Lynn Browning, 63, of Covington passed away peacefully the evening of February 8, 2023.

Chris was born in Memphis, Tennessee to James LaDale and Patricia Faye Browning.

He graduated from Sheffield High School where he participated in the JROTC. After high school, he served in the Army for 4 years. Chris had many jobs but most notably were his positions as manager at Danvers, Flowers Bread Company, and Wonder Bread. He was "Chris the bread guy" to many stores and restaurants and he cherished those relationships throughout the years. He loved to cook everything and could grill anything. He also enjoyed history, sports, and music. If you were ever stumped on a trivia question, Chris was your guy to call!

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Martha Carter, his mother Patricia Faye Browning, and his wife Carrie Lynn Browning.

Chris is survived by his father, James La Dale Browning, two sons Beau Browning (Katie) and Brady Browning (Ashley), his daughter Bailey Browning, and he was the best Big Dad to his nine grandchildren Jake, Dylan, Greta, Brylie, Greenlee, Bentley, Beau Claire, Baylor, and John Wesley.

He also leaves behind his sister Angie Qualls (Bobby); nephews Matthew Qualls and Kyle Qualls; one great niece, Zella Faye Qualls; father-in-law Oren Durham; sister-in-law Leslie Richardson Huneke (Jason); and many close friends and family members.

Chris will be laid to rest on March 3, 2023 at The West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene.
