Dad I remember the last day I saw you, as if it were yesterday. It was just a couple days before Christmas. . I remember a week before that you telling me that we would have to say goodbye but not forever. I didn’t think it would be for 10 years long. I looked for you for those whole 10 years .I love you dad. Thankfully, I finally found you, and then you are taken away from me yet again. Why? Why did we only have a little bit of time now to get to know each other? I wanted you to walk me down the aisle. I wanted to show everyone my real father... The one I was looking for. But now your not here. Your in heaven looking down upon me. I still will not give up. I will still look for you. Until the day I die we will meet again. And then we will continue what we started... Thank you for everything you have done for me. For all the good memories Like that time for my birthday we went to that nice lake and I rowed the boat all the way across it. Or the times when we went fishing. Remember that boat I found? I think I still have i. Guess you can say i'm exactly like you. I even look like you. :) I love you and I hope you will be waiting there when it’s my turn. - Ashley

I always thought of Chris as a 'character' of sorts. I never new what he might say. He was funny, and silly, some would say a bit 'rough around the edges'. Sometimes he wasn't even respectable! Often, when he talked, I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cringe! He loved life and lived life with exuberance and energy always. He was the one you needed to run into when you were down. He greeted every person like they were the single most important person in the world. Though I was not a close friend, you certainly would not have known by the big smile he greeted me with everytine we met. My prayers and condolences go out to his family and dear friends.

Dad, I really am gonna miss you, and I honestly wish that we could of patched things up you know. I will always remember you. I will remember all the good times we had. Till this very day I remember when you use to pick me up and take me out usually at the Lakehouse in richfield. This is a memory I keep dear to me. Everytime I do a piece of artwork I think about you. I know that you teached me well on doing what I love doing the best. I love you and I'm really sorry.

I am greatly saddened by the passing of this very dear friend of mine. On my darkest of days, Chris could always put a smile on my face and turn my tears into laughter. I will cherish the memories and the many phone calls. I will miss that amazing laugh and sense of humor. My condolences to family and friends. I wish I could be there on Saturday to say my last goodbye.

With much sympathy,
