I first met "Toph" (& Patrick) at Grammies many moons ago. Patrick kept calling him Toph, so when Jeff said my brother Chris I wondered if there were 3 boys! After that Chris was a busy part of life until he ate the Pudgies pizza with ketchup. I was probably pregnant, I was so grossed out! Then I found out he put ketchup on everything! He was the bestest brother in law, and I am so frustrated in the life he fought for, that ended too early. I know that he's at peace and I wish all the Bush/Olson/Ackerman (Plus) families all the prayers in the world. How wonderful to have known Chris, and all his girls. He left an impression of kindness and humility to all he met. Love and prayers

We have so many memories that we were able to share with Chris from coaching sports to going on vacation together and even playing cards at the kitchen table. Our kids always thought of Chris as a second father and We all knew how fortunate we were to have him in our lives and to be able to call him our friend! He truly was the most wonderful, amazing man! Rest in peace, our dear friend. We hope that you are able to play with Elvis in heaven and watch the Yankees take the World Series..and eat lots of Supra nachos. Gary & Jonna

So sorry to hear this news. Chris was a great guy and involved dad. I really appreciated when Chris volunteered to be a basketball referee for us back when Mackenzie played hoops.
Another memory I have is a few years ago Chris and I were watching a PA football game and Chris found a $100 bill. True to his character, he saw a gentleman frantically searching by the field and he approached him to see what he was looking for. When the guy said he dropped a $100 bill, Chris didn´t hesitate to hand him his lost bill.
Chris was a true gentleman and will be missed.
