I took my family to visit your grave site yesterday and I told my kids this is who a true hero is and does for his country. I could not help but remember all the times you told me when we were kids that this is what you wanted to do and that you wanted to be the best of the best. You did it!! I was a privilidge to know you and your family and I look forward to seeing you in heaven.

On this day of the 1 Year anniverary , I wanted to remind your family that Christopher's sacrifice Has not & Will not be forgotten by my family & I . I am very saddened to hear that such a sweet person that loved life to the fullest could be taken away at such an early age. He had an influence in my life just as he had with every other person that came to know him. He had a quick smile and a big heart. All of us on earth that loved you and knew you all too well will miss you terribly.

I want to say how very sorry i am about the death of chris but at the same time i am so proud of him too, thank you chris for your service, my john called me from iraq to tell me about chris, we cried and cried, john wish he could have been here for the memorial service, but i went and it was so very beautiful, honorable, thank you mr and mrs campbell for letting us see all the wonderful pictures of chris, i enjoyed knowing him and you all, just know i am praying for all of you, i will come see you all later, love and prayers to all of you

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I was not able to attend the memorial service due to health reasons but there has not been a day that has gone by in the past two weeks that I haven't prayed for you all. It is still so unreal. I am grateful for Chris' service and sacrifice. You all will always have a special place in my heart.
