John Rhys-Davies

I had the pleasure of working with Christopher on La Femme Musketeer. He was a fine actor with a natural dignity, kind, generous, engaging. Those who lose a child belong to a very special club, where just getting out of bed and getting through the day takes so much courage. There is no pain like it, there is no achievement that matters, set against that loss. We who love the craft admire, above all else, those who honour our tradition that, no matter what, we come to work and leave behind our private griefs. Christopher, that consummate professional, left the pain behind him when he came onto the set. He brought out the best in those who knew and worked with him, from the humblest "go-fer" to his fellow actors. He had natural good manners and a talent for friendship. I am shocked by his early death. I shall miss him. My condolences to those he loved and who loved him.
