Missing you today, Chris

I miss my brother Chris. I don't think I ever really appreciated how much he meant to me. We were never super close, even as kids. As I look back now, the fact that we were not close makes me very sad. I love him and miss him and hope to see him again in paradise.

Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.

Missing you

The first time I met Chris was on the school bus with Beth and Jon. He was shy and sweet and so much fun to pry a convo out of. All this led to us dating for two whole weeks in junior high and awkwardly holding hands. It was then we realized we were better as friends and I could actually get him to talk. He lost a lot of his shyness over the years but never his sweet nature. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Chris. He was a hard worker who was very good at yard and farm jobs. He seemed like a professional landscaper - he was that good. He was kind and very helpful to me. Chris was taken from this world too soon and his wonderful smile is gone.

Chris was my brother. I will always remember him as a crazy dare devil! He never missed an opportunity to do something scary just to prove it wasn't. I remember rock fights in our crawl space in cincinnati, riding way too fast on a motorcycle, and our rope swing in the woods. Just a few memories that my mind is full of. I love him and miss him always.

To the Cooper family, his friends, and loved ones my heart goes out to you for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris earlier this year and the impression he made will last forever in my heart. I remember seeing not just how he treated me but how he treated others around him, with kindness. Heaven gained an angel for sure.
