My thoughts and love are going out to Janice and to their children and families. Chris and I spent a lot of time together in high school. We did not see each other too often after Dawson. He moved to Toronto and I traveled with Northern Electric and ended up in Ottawa. Over the years we did see each other occasionally and shared some laughs, some memories and perhaps a pint or two. May Chris's spirit remain Forever Young.
Peace
Cheers, Jim (Leon)

To our dear friend, Nancy ~ I cannot bear to think of the sadness and grief you and your family are experiencing. I have lost two of my brothers in this lifetime very early--it is an indescribable grief to endure. You are a dear and loving friend. I want you to know we are all thinking of you every moment, and our prayers are with all of you. I'm sure Chris was a wonderful person knowing you as I do...he was a big part of your lives and the memories you have all shared will be yours forever. He is at peace with God and no longer in pain, gazing down at those who cherished him in his lifetime. He knows how much he was loved.
Travel safely back from Canada. I look forward to throwing my arms around you to comfort you and show how much you mean to me!
Take good care---my sincere sympathies to all of you.

Chris De Cairos
How we all loved and respected this man in so many ways.
Chris always found and made the time for his friends, family and business associates, whenever they called for his help.
His genius, simplified complex problems into simple, easy to follow solutions.
His courage, will to live and eternal optimism was felt by all of us over the years.
His mentorship will be heartfelt and cherished by so many of us for years to come.
His strength, as he neared the end of his journey was admirable and exemplified how he lived his life.
Chris…I will remember you for:
Being a true friend for over 30 years.
Being the hardest working, unselfish, helpful and dedicated business associate a man could ever have.
Always being there, day or night when the chips were down.
Sacrificing your family time and free time on many, many occasions to help us build the Global Marketing Team Dream.
Unselfishly organizing hockey games, golf tournaments, golf and hockey pools, etc., for your friends over the years.
So many fun memories and stories that will be remembered fondly and cherished forever laddie.
Truly a dear friend that will be sadly missed.
Words cannot express our sincerest and deepest sympathy for Janice & children: Morgan (Brian), Allyson, Christopher, Taylor, Arthur and the entire De Cairos/Wiltshire family.

Dearest Janice and Family,
My deepest condolances on the loss of such a wonderful man. I had the honour of working for Chris at the MTO and later at Global Marketing. He was not only the best boss I ever worked for but also a dear friend ... he will always be remembered in my heart ...

Nancy de Cairos and family;
Deepest condolences on the loss of Christopher. Our prayers are with you.
Nancy, I wonder if you are the same lady I worked with at Scotiabank at St. Laurent and Ontario in 1970/71.
If so, I remember you as a hard working and dedicated employee and a most pleasant colleague.
Take care now.
Sincerely
Carol & Francis Hocquard
