Christopher Duran Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 16, 2024.
Christopher Myles Duran, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Boston, MA, at 37 years old. Born on December 21, 1986, in Lawrenceville, GA, Chris' quick wit and dry humor could make light of almost any situation. Those who knew him well will always remember his comedic spin on life.

Chris was an avid sports fan, with a passion for baseball and football. He followed the Braves and the Falcons closely. He always looked forward to watching them play or attending a game when he had the chance.

Above all else, Chris will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family. He loved being a husband and father more than anything in the world. His family was his driving force in life and he lit up whenever he had the chance to talk about them.

He is preceded in death by his son, Gabriel Duran; grandfather, Tommy David Mitchell and grandmother, Farris Eloise Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Duran; daughter, Lennon Duran, stepson, Isaiah Yu; baby boy Duran, due December '24; mother, Denise Branton; stepfather, Ken Branton; father, Rick Duran (Michelle); sister, Katie Beak (Taylor); brother, Kyle Duran; sister, Maggie Blackwell (Tommy); stepsister, April Kendrick (Mark); stepbrother, Robert Branton (Melissa); stepbrother, Steven Branton (Kim); nephew, Owen Beak; niece, Margot Beak; nephew, Thomas Blackwell; grandmother; Linda Duran; grandfather, Frank Duran as well as many other beloved family members and friends he considered family.

His celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Discover Life Church in Lawrenceville. The family will receive guests an hour prior at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his family's Go Fund Me (https://gofund.me/ade7a30c).
