On 6th February 2018, very suddenly in hospital, aged 68 years,
Christopher Charles Garwood
of Wansford.
Dearly loved husband of Susan,
dear father of Samuel and Lucy,
adored grandpa of Martha and Phoebe.
Service and cremation at Octon Crematorium on Thursday
22nd February at 1.00pm.
Family flowers only by request,
donations in lieu if desired
for Henshaws of Harrogate.

I am so very sorry to learn so belatedly of the death of Chris Garwood, whom I first met when I joined Driffield Round Table more than forty years ago. His Minutes as Secretary were very funny and we shared a dry sense of humour and sense of irony that, as Chairman, he exercised in full measure on the occasion when he named me as Driffield RT Sportsman of the Year'.
I always enjoyed Chris' company and it is a great regret that we did not meet again after I moved with my family to Scotland in 1989.
