Christopher Hinckley Obituary
Chris spent the majority of his career as a truck driver and equipment operator. He concluded his working years at Whittington Paving, where he was more than just an employee-he was treated like family. His time there left a lasting impression.
A devoted father and grandfather, Chris cherished every moment spent with his son, Christopher Hinckley Jr., and his beloved grandsons: Brantley Hinckley, Mason Hinckley, and Brexton Hinckley. His pride in them was evident to all who knew him.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Jay Hinckley; his mother, Sue Ann Williams; and his wife, Susan Hinckley. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Outside of work and family, Chris found joy in flying model planes with his best friends Darren "Lumpy" and Lester Goldsmith. He also enjoyed spending time with his remote-controlled boats-hobbies that brought him peace and connection with those he held dear.
Known for having a heart of gold, Chris was a loyal friend to many. His warmth, generosity, and sense of humor left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
May the memory of Christopher Douglas "Chris" Hinckley Sr. bring comfort to those who loved him and serve as a reminder of a life well-lived.

I met Chris in about 1979 when he began coming to our model airplane hobby shop at about age 13. He loved Control line model airplanes, and radio controlled model airplanes and boats. He was a customer and a friend for all of those years. The picture here is last October when he came to our party.

Yes this is a horrible picture I know but it´s the last one he sent to me before surgery and I laughed and laughed. He always knew how to make me smile. I told him I was gonna post this on his obituary if he went before me. Best roommate I ever had. Miss u my friend
