A visitation will be held for Chris Jordan from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Hilliard Funeral Home.

Christopher Lee Jordan was born June 29, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. He had been a resident of Larue for 2 years, formerly living in Zephyr, Murchison, and Canton. He was a talented builder, owning CJ Construction for 25 years and building homes all over East Texas and the Hill Country. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking for arrowheads, and exploring the outdoors with his children and grandchildren.

Chris passed away at the age of 50 on June 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Gore, Bonnie Gore, Dorothy Jordan, and Jack Jordan; stepmother, Sylvia Jordan; aunt, Mae Glidewell; uncle, Eddie Jordan; and nephew, Bo Ottaberry.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Amanda Jordan of Larue; children, Jordan Michelle "JJ" Jordan, Hailie LeAnn Jordan, Callie Lane Jordan (Tyler Lyle), and Tanner Jack Jordan; stepchildren, Hayley McKinzie Herron and Trinton Douglas Herron; parents, Terry Lee Jordan and Karen Jane Gore Holmes; sister, Angela Jordan Brewster (Gary Brewster); sister-in-law, Kim Teixera; grandchildren, Kendall, Raylan, Dawson, Wrenlee, Harlyn, and Cory; nieces and nephews, Madison, Sara, Justyn, Emma, Mary, Andrew, Shannon, and Owen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob & Debbie Byerly; cousins, Sascha, Jeff, Jason, and Kayla; uncles and aunts, Tim, Bonnie Jean, Kevin, and Jane; and his beloved dog, Chief.
