Christopher Kasten Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Kasten and Harriette Rivers. He is survived by his parents, Donald and Linda Kasten; sister, Melissa (Brad) McKillop; brother, Cameron Kasten; grandparents Dorothy Kasten and Ronald Rivers.
Rosary 7pm, Monday, Sept. 19, DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary; Mass 2pm, Tuesday, Sept. 20, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

I knew Chris during the time I worked at Robinson MS, and several years later I was so happy to find that he was at East when I started working there. Certain students stick in one's memory, and Chris is one of those. What a kind and gentle soul. Life is a mystery.

I work with Cameron at the Alumni Assoc. and wish to express my sincerest sympathy for the tragic loss of your son and brother. I can't imagine the pain you must be going through.
We are all quite fond of Cameron here, and our hearts go out to him and his family.

Linda and Don: My daughters have friends (and older siblings of their friends) who knew Christopher. Both of my older daughters, Simone and Tatiana, knew Christopher. Everyone speaks very highly of Christopher and I've heard the same comments over and over from many different people,which speaks volumes to me about your son. Know that he will definitely be missed and will be remembered. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Just heard about Chris. Chris was friends with my grandson, Justin, during junior high. Chris was always pleasant and fun to be around. My daughter's were around Ronnie's age, just learned Chris was related to Ronnie. Our sympathy to the family.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I worked with Chris at Third Planet for three years and always looked forward to seeing him as he could always brighten my day with his humor or goofy smile. I am so very sorry for your loss. If all the love from Christopher's friends could have saved him he would live forever. I dated him our 8th grade year and beginning of freshman year. I'm going to miss him so much. He was the kindest, most caring person I knew. I wish it wasn't true. Ive been keeping the Kasten family close to my heart and in my thoughts and prayers.
