Christopher Keane Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 6, 2025.
Christopher Paul Keane

November 1988 - March 2025

Christopher Paul Keane, age 36, of Tempe Arizona, completed his Journey on Monday, March 10,

2025, leaving behind 13 packs of Ballpark Franks, 22 bottles of Arizona Tea, and an extensive

collection of CDs that reminded him of life's best moments.

Chris is survived by his one-eyed pug and loyal companion, Rico. His best friend with whom he

cooked and shared every meal. Wife, Rachel Jennings-Keane; Mother, Terri Allen; Brother, Jake Allen;

Paternal Grandparents, Janice Keane and Sam Smart; Maternal grandmother, Loretta Hoeltzel; and The

Rawlings Family.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Paul Thomas Keane; Grandfather, Buddy Hoeltzel; Great

Grandmother, Julia Peter; and his favorite sand wedge which found the water on hole 18.

Chris graduated from Gulf Coast High School in Naples, FL, and had the rare ability to be accepted

into the inner circles of the jocks, the fine arts kids, and the emo punk-rockers alike. He was

remarkably athletic and a fierce competitor. Chris' humor and quick wit made him a natural in the

service and hospitality industry. His commitment to community service and his peers was transcending

and commendable.

Chris enjoyed many, many things. Such as golfing, cooking, live music, Jeopardy, hot dogs, regular

dogs, cold beer paired with a shot of rye, fantasy football, Italian hand gestures, snowboarding,

biographies, peach ice cream, planning his next tattoo, and above all his family.

He was a renowned distributor of good jokes and bad gambling advice.

He despised words like "mixologist" and "foodie" and disproved of bananas and sweet potatoes in all

forms. He didn't care about most material things, and he had zero working knowledge of reality TV.

Chris was Native Athabascan from Alaska and had a supernatural sense of direction and an earthly

connection. On the golf course, he'd often take off his shoes and walk barefoot across the green to read

his putts, despite being told to stop by the ranger. He Always knew what you were feeling and related.

Chris left this world knowing three undeniable truths: Atmosphere is the best band of all time, pugs are

a New Yorkers best friend, and hot dogs can and should be eaten at every meal.

Friends and family can join a Celebration of Life that will be held at Ceremony Brewing 10441

Packinghouse Ln, Bonita Springs Florida on April 26, 2025, at 12 PM, where we will gather to honor

the laughter Chris brought into our lives.
