Christopher David Maddox

Chris's passing is one of the things that I remember every year. Not because I knew him well, but that that event had such an impact on the lives of my children , Scott Frushon, and my daughter, Lauren Frushon (now Vengels). It is a constant reminder of how unpredictable our lives can be and how fleeting. I hope the years have brought his family some measure of peace.

My family has truly been affected by Chris's death. My son and daughter, Scott and Lauren Frushon, considered Chris one of their best friends. I have heard numerous stories over the years of my kids' outings with Chris, including ones to the beach and Lopez Lake. He will be missed by all of us. Although I didn't know Chris well, I have been profoundly affected and deeply saddened by his death; the loss of someone in his or her youth is always the most difficult. I just want to hug my kids even closer. My prayers go out to your family...for peace and closure. You are all in our thoughts.
