Our deepest sympathies to Debbie and the McKee family. Chris was our neighbor for 21 years, and a great friend for 43 years. We will miss him terribly. He will remain in our hearts forever.

When I brought up Christopher's picture on the Givnish website and I saw my handsome son's face smiling back at me, I wasn't sure whether I wanted to cry or smile. If I cried it would be because of how much I would be missing him. I had to smile because that is what he would have wanted as his smile was always his trademark...his beautiful loving smile. Chris was special- a really good man. He had a way of counting his blessings with gratitude and facing his illness with courage and dignity. He was an artistic metal craftsman. who enjoyed his life, his work, his five brothers and one sister, his two sons, their wives, and two granddaughters, who gave him so much happiness and delight. He was a blessing to all who knew him. To sum up my thoughts I will quote from the poem 'God's Garden', " It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for parts of us went with you, the day God took you home." My son Christopher blessed me with 66 years of his life for which I am eternally grateful to God. Love you Chris.

Our dear Chris, your goal in life was to leave your legacy. That you did! In your shortened 66 years, you touched the lives of everyone who knew you. Thank you! 2 Timothy 4:7-8,
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing". Chris, you would want us to mourn no more, but to remember all the happy times of life. Until we meet in our heavenly home.
Love Joanne
