I was cabin crew at Gatwick, and flew with Christopher on many occasions. We always looked forward to his wonderful pa's. Informative, inventive and usually funny. A lovely man sorry to hear of his passing.

I was privileged to meet Topher on two occasions. Once at the most wonderful occasion of his daughter Caroline's wedding to John, and, equally memorably, at a trip to the zoo last August. Seldom have I met so humorous, stoical, devilishly witty and downright remarkable a man. You made quite the impression on my daughter, Freya (then 3 1/2), such that when (at Duxford on Easter Monday) I took her on to Concorde and told her that Caroline's daddy had flown this plane when he was younger, she waxed lyrical (well as lyrical as a 4 yr old can) about your Whipsnade antics.

You made an impression on me, too, Topher, genuinely proud to have met you and overjoyed that your amazing daughter has latterly been press-ganged into my friendship circle. I'd implore you to rest in peace but from the little I know of you I dare say you'll do nothing of the sort...

Christopher, 'Topher', my amazing first cousin who bore his illness with so much grace and bravery. He always had a wonderful smile for everyone and one never saw him 'down', but I know that he suffered. He was so courageous. He loved Concorde almost as much as his family which he adored. We'll miss you Topher so so much but now you are at peace and completely healed.
Much love from all the Forster family.

100 years ago (or so it sometimes seems), I was a Concorde stewardess. In the early days of Concorde there were very few cabin and flight deck crew, and we all came to know each other pretty well.

I remember Chris as a lovely man, and an absolute gentleman. Heartfelt condolences to his family.

So many fond memories of Christopher; his smile , his courage and bravery and his great enthusiasm and love for the Aircraft Industry. I remember his wonderful stories of Concorde and all his fantastic stories together with his considerable technical knowledge. His love of life and his love and affection for his family and friends are also treasured memories. Christopher set the bar at the highest possible level for living life to the full in all its glory. What a Man and what an example to us all. Thank you Topher.
Our love and deep respects, Brian and Christine Marshall.
