I had the pleasure of managing Chris at the Guitar Center in south Austin. He was a delight to be around and was dedicated to helping other musicians fine tune their craft. His kindness and passion for music was infectious and he will be missed.

Chris was not only a great person, he was a overwhelmingly talented musician and I am lucky to have had the privilege to hear him play daily for the many years we lived together! I will truly miss him!

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Chris. From reading all the entries and the article about him, he was undoubtedly a very special person.

I was recently playing some acoustic songs with a couple friends here in Hollywood. Randomly a song came to my head that I first heard from Chris when I was a freshman at Westlake at a bible study. He performed it so beautifully and with such conviction that I never forgot, it's called Love Song by Third Day.
He will be missed.

Our family is deeply saddened by Chris' death. We remember him fondly as one of our son's dear friends at WHS during 1996-97. They enjoyed playing guitars together and attended Young Life together. In fact, my husband lent him a guitar to play, which Chris later bought because he loved it so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May God comfort you all.
