Christopher Reimann Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 9, 2024.
Christopher Stuart Reimann, known affectionately as Chris, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Vienna, Virginia, at the age of 61. Born on January 22, 1963, in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Cazenovia, Chris was a cherished member of the community.

Chris dedicated his professional life to his craft as a Master Finish Carpenter, a trade he pursued from 1984 until his passing in 2024. His exceptional craftsmanship can be seen throughout Vienna, leaving a lasting legacy in every corner of the town. Beyond his professional achievements, Chris was a passionate relic hunter with a deep appreciation for the Civil War era, a hobby that complemented his love for history and exploration.

An avid sports enthusiast, Chris grew up playing hockey and was a lifelong supporter of the New York Rangers. His interests also included motorcycle riding and exploring esoteric topics, which made him a charming and engaging companion. Those who knew him well will remember his wit and humor, which brought joy and laughter to their lives.

Chris was a devout member of Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Church, where he participated actively in the community. His faith was an integral part of his life, providing him with guidance and comfort.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Jolette S. Reimann; his son, Jacob S. Reimann; his brother, Sean Reimann (Anna); and his sisters, Melanie Leath (James), Stephanie Reimann, and Amy Scarbrough. He also leaves behind a cherished circle of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Nathalie Stuart and Robert George Reimann.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 17, 2024, from 4PM to 8PM at 110 Kingsley Road, SE, Vienna, VA 22180. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate in true "Reimann" fashion, sharing stories and memories. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Chris can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Donations can be made through their website at [https://lustgarten.org/donatenow/](https://lustgarten.org/donatenow/).

Chris's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his craft, and his community. His legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Swamp romp. Every year until the sorry Wolftrap admins canceled it in 2014. This pic from the final year. It was epic. Chris was a great friend, an extraordinarily skilled craftsman and a true renaissance man with multiple talents. We will miss him.

I always enjoyed talks and having a laugh with Chris, while sitting on the front porch having a cool beverage.

Sharing one of many wonderful stories of Chris. Chris, Jolette, Bruce and about 15 friends camped and canoed down the Shenandoah for a crazy fun weekend. Bruce and I didn´t have a tent and the Reimann´s stepped up to the plate and loaned us a deluxe one.
The nighttime fires were epic and hooking up canoes made it one of the best memories ever!

I´ve known Chris for 25 years. He did all of the fine carpentry work on the old yellow house on Redwood Dr. and over the years did too many other projects to mention. We became good friends and shared innumerable laughs and outlooks about life. I´ll always remember his infectious smile, sense of humor, his love for Jolette, his "bride" and how proud he was of their son, Jake. Rest in peace, my friend.

I remember Chris as a small boy when we had all of the Reimanns come to our house for Thanksgiving. He was younger than my brother Stephen, and I am so sad that he´s gone. My heart goes out to all who loved him. You are all my beloved cousins

I will always remember Chris fondly as a great and true friend who always looked on the bright side of life...He loved music and followed a band I was playing in in Cazenovia NY. He loved our music and was always there to help with setting up and at the end of the gig, tearing down the equipment. My condolences to the family for your loss as he was taken far too soon. Chris I love you as a brother,RIP,Steve Davies

To my one of a kind..... my 1st memory of Chris is not easily found as I've know him over 4 decades. I loved him from the beginning, I pray that he knows how much at the end. We've laughed, we've cried. We've sang and we danced. My memories are far too vast to even try to put into words. One thing is for certain, this heart will never not miss him. My most cherished gift, by far he's ever given me was allowing me the privilege to know his beautiful bride, Jolette. I would find it very hard to ever thank him enough for trusting me to love her. Thank you dear man, for being you and impacting my whole life. I love you Chris. I'll never not miss that sweet smile.
