Can't believe that a year has come and gone since Chris's passing. A severe snow storm prevented me and my wife from attending his funeral. Chris was detrimental in helping me get 100% disability. I suffered from PTSD for years before a diagnosis was made. I will forever be indebted for his help! I miss him more than words can say! He was a great guy!!

I first met Chris in 2013. I was deeply touched by his compassion for all of God's creations. I will miss Chris, and always keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Chris was a very special friend and counselor at the Brockton vet center. From the first day we met I knew he was a person who cared for everyone he met. He was kind and supportive for any issues any of the Vets may be experiencing. Chris always went out of his way to help everyone with any of their problems. Chris had some funny quirks that included believing in Mermaids. Everyone in the group including me really loved Chris. He became one of us by being a counselor, friend and supporter for everyone's issues. Chris will remain in my heart and in my memories for a long time. Because of him I am a better man. Thank you my friend.

As I write, remembering how Chris would listen to another's thoughts that involved flash backs of Viet Nam,
comfort in knowing Chris was there, often brought a calming realization within our conversations. In fact he had walked near Cu Chi and knew of many landmarks we discussed. I consider myself extremely fortunate to
have been assigned to Chris with his knowledge and counseling skills. It is too soon to realized our conversations have ended; but fortunately the memory of our discussions will continue in pleasant thoughts...

Chris was a kind and loving individual who was well thouuught of in the Social Work Department at Fayetteville State University. I had the opportunity to teach Chris and he added immensely to the class interaction. He will be missed, but his remembrance will live on.

Chris, you will surely be missed. You were a good man, loved and respected by many. Your passion and dedication in helping out our veterans, giving them renewed hope, strength and confidence to overcome their own adversities and challenges was always your #1 priority. I am so blessed and honored to have known you since 2012. Thank you for believing in me. In many ways you were my mentor, my inspiration and my hero. I only hope I can be half the social worker you were.

We will never forget you brother and all you have done for all of us. You were always there for anyone who needed a friend or a helping hand. I remember once he told me that he had been to heaven and the angels sent him back saying his work on earth was not done. He was truly a great man. Rest in peace. Your work here is done.
