Christopher Samuel Scharadin

Christopher Samuel Scharadin, 37, passed away far too soon on August 16th, 2025 in Manchester, CT. Chris was born on September 8th, 1987 in Harrisburg, PA. He was a high school graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, Class of 2006, and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from DeSales University in 2010. Chris spent the majority of his career as a medical technician at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA and Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT.

Chris was an avid sports fan, participated in various sports throughout his childhood, and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America. Chris enjoyed spending time with his son, family, and friends, as well as watching movies, his favorites including the Harry Potter and the Marvel movies.

Chris is survived by his wife, Esther; son, Riley; parents, Patricia (Repp) and Samuel Scharadin Jr. of Harrisburg, PA; brother, Jeremy Scharadin (Lauren) and nieces, Kacie and Mackenzie, and brother, Matthew Scharadin (Gabrielle).

Chris will be remembered for his charismatic personality, jokes and quick-witted comments, comical gift giving, and love for his son and nieces. He especially loved playing with Riley and taking him to the park.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established in Riley Scharadin's name, and the family respectfully requests that any donations be made in a check payable to his name.

A celebration of life is planned for October 10th, 2025 from 1PM to 3PM, at American Legion Post 730, 3813 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17109. Family and friends are invited to share memories of Chris at this time.
