Today, May 7th at 3:10 Mike would have been 38.

Over 200 people came to the funeral home, from all over the united states, some from Maryland, some from Florida, one from Detroit, even some from L.A. California.They were not just family members. They were people who had come to know our boy and had learned to love the beautiful qualities that we saw in him. He just didn't understand how much he was loved! Seeing all those who loved him make such effort to come lay him to rest has touched the hearts of his family. Thank you for loving our boy. Thank you for your support. We will always remember your love.

A student in my class last semester at ACM, I appreciated his insight, his energy, his humor, and more. I am saddened by this loss and will feel myself affected by it each time I enter into my classroom.
"May you never wonder if I follow you each day. To live on for me is what I desire. To guide you is what I will do. From above, I will watch over those I love and those who need me. Be peaceful and never say, I wish I could have.
You did it all and now I can rest."

Mike was one of my mathematics students last semester at Allegany College of Maryland. We called him Chris in class. From the first day, he brought a delightful energy to the classroom. He would banter during the lecture in such a way that kept everyone (me included!) on our toes. It was through his bright personality that several of the students formed a friendship. He worked hard to excel, and the others looked up to him for that. My prayers are with you all during your sorrow. -- Mrs. Devlin

Mike was a student in my class last semester at Allegany College of Maryland. He always brought so much energy into the classroom. He had a knack for language and a great storytelling voice. It was truly an honor to work with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Although I only met you a few times when I was little you will be missed. You are my 3rd cousin. May you RIH and look down on all of your family and friends.

I miss you so much already, now knowing that I will never see you again, it is so so hard to say goodbye, but it's not goodbye, just till I see you next.

My baby brother how do we go on from here. I love and miss you so bad.

Mike was one of the best people I knew. I had the pleasure of living with him for a few months while he was waiting to go into the army. We have been friends for years. We had many great memories.
