Christopher Andrew Vega passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born August 21, 1985, in Houston to Andrew and Regina Vega. Christopher was a Schedule Planner in the construction business and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved music and his family. He even wrote and produced his own R & B music. He was an amazing man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Christopher is survived by his wife, Merylene Paul of Baytown; children, Kyler and Kaylyn Vega; parents, Andrew Vega and Regina Vega; grandparents, Saul and Martha Vega, and Sharon Payne; brothers, Jimmy Vega, John Vega, and Adam Vega; sister, Jessica Vega; aunts and uncles, Inez Brazier family, Pauline Turnini family, Mary Vega family, Saul Vega family, and John Vega family; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Dwight Canizares as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City. Honoring the family as pallbearers are Jimmy Vega, John Vega, Adam Vega, Lawrence Stewart, Sherwin Scope, Justin Goudeau, and Eddie McCray. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services, 6123 Garth Rd, Baytown, Texas 77521, 281-839-0700.
