I met him briefly at the Walmart location in South Austin off of 71 and Mopac he was buying supplies for his camper pretty cool guy. You´re very nice. I met a lot of stars over the times that he was a really nice dude. Sorry for your loss man. I didn´t know he loved the fish. It would´ve been a blast going fishing with him. Rest in peace man nice meeting you we´ll see you again.

Chuck was a childhood friend of mine. His sister, Sue was a best friend of mine. He sang The Lord´s Prayer and Panis Angelica´s at my wedding. He also attended my son´s rehearsal dinner in LA.years later. He didn´t want to sing at this wedding because he said he just didn´t sing anymore. It was so special to have him attend anyway!

I will miss him so much.

I am so sad to hear of his passing. I watched him everyday on US Money Reserve. When a Message came on . In memory of Chuck Woolery. I was shocked. He seem like a gentlemen talking about the game and if they had put it in gold. It made me want to save gold. I didn't know he was 83, I will be 83 Jan 14,25 I did enjoy seeing him . God Bless him and his family.

I still remember a memorable trip from Austin to JFK. Chuck was flying up to do a segment on Fox and I was heading overseas somewhere. I was sitting next Chuck and didn't recognize him at first, but he treated me like a friend. He talked about how he met Johnathan Winters which got him on the Carson show, which led him to do the Merv Griffin show and the rest is history. His stories of how he met Lucille Ball and John Wayne kept me asking a ton of questions. In that short 3.5 hour flight he discussed his children, his girlfriend and bass fishing with great affection. I felt like I was part of the family. He went so far as to tell me how he got out to Horseshoe Bay and why he stayed there. Great Stories! I'd always wished I had taken him up on that offer for a plate of BBQ.

My family I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Chuck Woolery. "Sorrow" is too small a word for what you are going through and there's not a word deep enough or wide enough to console you. But, even in times when there are no words, there's hope and comfort knowing so many people are thinking of you and holding you close in their hearts.

Please remember, God is close to the broken hearted and there is never a tear drop that he doesn't see. There is never a moment when God doesn't care, never a time when he won't hear our prayers. Just know, better days are ahead as you continue on the journey of life.

Sincerely,

ER

THE WORLD HAS LOST A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND A VERY TALENTED ENTERTAINER. I THOUGHT THAT CHUCK'S PERSONALITY ALWAYS FIT THE DEFINITION OF A "NICE GUY." MAY HIS CHILDREN KNOW HOW MUCH HE WAS ADMIRED. AJ AUSTERLITZ, NY
