Cindy Kern

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy Kern, who left us peacefully on April 26, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on October 27, 1957, in Miami, Florida, Cindy was a cherished member of the Pompano Beach community and will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle demeanor, and her commitment to her family.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Kern Sr.; her sons, William "Billy" Kern Jr. (Jennifer Andrzejewski) and Daniel "Danny" Kern (Kassidy Kern); and her treasured grandchildren, Dylan, Kaylee, Brooklyn, and Brody. She also leaves behind her loving mother, Janice Youngman; her stepfather, Dave Slack; her sister, Jelaine Lombardi (Tom Lombardi); her brother, Charles Youngman Jr. (Joan Youngman); and many nieces and nephews who looked up to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Youngman Sr.; brother, David Frame; sister-in-law, Charlotte Campanello; brother-in-law, Fred Campanello Sr.; and nephew, Cody Zuccari.

Cindy was the ultimate team player - a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who played every position with love and dedication. Whether she was 'pitching' in at family gatherings or 'catching' memories at the beach and in the Tennessee mountains, Cindy never missed a 'game'. Her fan section was always full, with cheers coming loudest for her beloved New York Yankees or coaching from the sidelines at her kids' and grandkids' games.

A service to commemorate Cindy's life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Silver Thatch Atlantic Plaza from 5 pm to 8 pm (531 N Ocean Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL 33062). Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Cindy are welcome to attend and share in the remembrance of her beautiful life.

Cindy's passing leaves a void in our hearts, but her spirit and the joy she brought to our lives will endure forever. May she rest in eternal peace.
