Matt,
We've never met, but one of my closest friends, Ashley Folse, is your neighbor. She told me about Cindy's illness some time ago and I have frequently asked how she was doing.
I spoke with Ashley today and she shared the sad news. She spoke very highly of you all and said that Cindy had great faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will be praying for you, your children, and your extended family.
Sincerely,
Shannon Gaudio

To Mr. & Mrs. Lyerly:
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
It has been an honor to be friends with Cindy for the last 23 years. We worked together everyday for 18 years at Dr. Holt's office and spent many hours together after work. Marion and I cherish our memories of Cindy.
I know you are proud of her because she was kind and considerate to everyone. She was a loving, honorable Daughter, Sister, Wife and Mother due to YOUR LOVE AND GUIDANCE. I wish to thank you and your family members for their love and kindness given to Marion and me at the hospital. You welcomed us and we felt like family.

Dear Matt and Tyler family,
I just found out about your loved one Matt and I can only say how sorry I am for your loss. It just seems like yesterday that you were growing up in front of me and how wonderful a person you have always been and I'm sure your wife was just as wonderful as you. I'm sure she is in heaven now at peace. Your family was always so kind to me and it hurts my heart that you had to go through this. I'm glad you have such a great family to be with you during this difficult time.
God Bless you,

Matt, Alana, Austin -
I have known Cindy my entire life and Ronnie has known her since the early 70's We had some fabulous times growing up. Cindy and Julies house were only 2 neighbors houses my sister and brothers and I were allowed to venture out to. We had a wonderful time on the swing set and whirlie bird that Carlton cemented in the ground. The doll house brings back many wonderful memories as well. Last night seeing the streams of people at the funeral home and then today the service so honored Cindy and definately put God in first place. What a joy to have such memories of a wonderful cousin and friend. God is definately pleased with her realness and desire to please Him. So many people were encouraged and will be encouraged by the memories made this week. Love...Robin & Ronnie Clayton

To the Lyerly and Tyler Family,
I worked with Cindy at Dr. Holt's office and we also grew up on the same street. I just found out about two weeks ago that Cindy was ill. I want you all to know that you will be lifted up in prayer during this difficult time. Cindy was a beautiful girl on the inside and out and it was a pleasure to know her. She was truly a woman of God. Holding you close in my thoughts.

From Uncle Tom, Aunt Rudolph, Dawn, and Joshua:
I walked a mile with happiness she chatted all the way
And left me none the wiser for all she had to say.
I walked a mile with sorrow and never a word said she........ but oh the things I learned from her when sorrow walked with me.
We send our love to you all and pray for healing and rest. A thousand tears are down here in Florida.
It is one thing to lose, but oh so, so, so, hard to let go.
The internet does not have enough space to tell, describe, share, or sing how wonderful our Cindy was.
We pray for all of you.
with all our Love,
Dawn, Joshua, Tom, and Rudolph

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOST CINDY WAS A VERY SWEET AND NICE LADY..ALWAYS SMILING WHEN I SAW HER...SHE WILL BE MISSED ...JUST REMEMBER SHE IS AN ANGEL LOOKING DOWN ON EVERY ONE NOW...
LOTS OF LOVE SANDY,SINCLAIR, LISA AND EMMETT
I READ THIS POEM AND THOUGHT ABOUT CINDY AND HER FAMILY THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE....
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I knew Cyndi through Van and I know how much you all meant to Cynd. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and she will be missed. May God bless you all in the days to come.
Comfort
Surrounded by friends
yet all alone
the one I loved
God has called home
the hugs of friends
helps ease the pain
and I know my loss
is my loved one's gain
but tears now flow
across my face
as I long for just
one more embrace
then comfort comes
and I see Christ's face
He hugs my loved one
and I feel God's grace.
