Betty Clark, 89, of Medina, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Cadiz, KY.
Betty was born January 12, 1936, in Wise, VA to Melvin and Mary Malissie Savanah {Horne} Hubbard.
She married James Buford Clark on May 2, 1953.
Betty was a type set for Lund Equipment in Bath, Ohio. She was a member of the Brecksville Church of God of Prophecy. The results of Betty and James` evangelistic efforts are seen in the lives of many today. She was a powerful prayer warrior, and her love and joy were her family and the Lord. Betty was an outstanding greeter and Sunday School teacher at church as well. She absolutely loved people. Betty also was a great cook and baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; son Daryl, and her siblings Cletus, Charles, William, Bea, Annabelle, and Marie.
Betty will be deeply missed by her children Helen (Hugh) Morris of Medina, Michelle (Devoran) Atwood of Cadiz, KY, and her daughter-in-law Lucy Clark (Daryl) of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters Lola McFadden Mooresburg, TN and Charlene Powers of Cleveland, OH. She will also be missed by friends, nieces and nephews as she was adored by many.
Friends may call Friday, October 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville. Betty will be buried next to James at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday at 9:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, to honor Betty’s life, please consider purchasing a Bible from Gideon’s International at www.gideons.org/donate .
