As long as I remember my Dad (Edward Frank, Clairs brother) I will remember Uncle Clair. I was blessed to have both of them in my life.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Uncle Clair and I have exchanged Christmas cards for many, many years, and I always looked forward to hearing from him, if only with his "Love, Clair" on the card. He was a special man, and was loved by many. He is the last of my Dad's brothers, and it saddens me. Always a special place in my heart. Good bye, Uncle Clair. Love, Sandy (nee Frank) Wensel.

I am so sorry to find out that my Uncle Clair is gone and I extend my condolences to each of them. I loved him and I believe the world is a sadder place now that he's gone. He is the last one of the Frank boys, so sad. I remember him when I was a child, visiting our family after he returned home after his active-duty Army service during WWII; he was a loving uncle to me and my brother and sister; we were always so happy to see him! My father, Edward (Ed or Eggie, as he was known then) was his older brother and I believe they were rather close as they growing up. I know how much his family meant to him, and how important he was to each of them. He was such a kind and loving man and he will be missed.
