Claire L. Carty

Claire L. (Lessard) Carty, 70, a resident of Litchfield, NH, died peacefully Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. Claire is the beloved wife of Robert Carty.

Claire was born in Nashua on August 21, 1946 and is the daughter of the late Aime E. and Jeanne (Fournier) Lessard. She received her bachelor's degree from Rivier College.

In her early years, she was employed as a clerk at the Nashua District Court House and then later also worked as a paralegal for Sullivan and Gregg in Nashua and Sheehan Phinney in Manchester from February of 2002 until her retirement December 31, 2015.

In addition to her husband, Claire is survived by her son Timothy L. LeBlanc and his wife Lisa of Londonderry and her daughter Nicole Cloutier and her fiance Jojie Taqueban of Manchester; her step-son Eric R. Carty and his wife Rebecca of Henderson, NV; as well as seven grandchildren, Zachary, Heather, Conner, Sarah, Tyler, Griffin, and Aubrielle; and one great-grandson, Hunter. Claire is also survived by her two sisters Dolores Megens and her husband Harry of Stoddard and Theresa Gravel and her husband Robert of Nashua; as well as her brother Robert Lessard and his wife Susan of Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on SUNDAY, April 23rd from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on MONDAY, April 24th at 11 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH. Her burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
