Claire Marion Oglesby

I never got to meet her, but she is forever in my heart as a great humanitarian and consummate educator! I have used the documentary in my Lehman college classroom where I teach Family, School and Community. It always opens the eyes of both my graduate and undergraduate students as to how to bring culture, diversity and honor for others to the classroom. It is also evidence of what happens when you include children and their ideas in the curriculum . They OWN their education.. Thank you, Claire! Your work lives on through me and thousands of others. Your living was NOT in vain!
