Claire ROBERTSON Obituary
(nee Girard)
Peacefully in hospital, in her 96th year, on March 5, 2015 after a short illness. Predeceased by her parents, Donat and Josephine Girard, her sisters Marguerite and Therese, brother Gerald and her loving first husband, John Daley and survived by her most loving second husband Allan Robertson. Loving mother of Maureen Berkeley and loving and special "Granny" to Bruce and Randy Spence. Claire is also survived by brothers Marcel (Peggy) of London, ON and Gabriel, Halifax, NS and her sisters Marie and Bernadette of Ottawa and Gatineau. She leaves to mourn her passing many nieces and nephews, her extended Robertson family, as well as many friends. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Windsor Park Manor and Redwoods and the CCAC for their compassion and loving care given to Claire. A graveside service will take place at Beechwood Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada.
