CLARA "JEAN" PARKER

Graveside Services for Jean Parker will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chico Cemetery.

Jean was born in Chico on September 5, 1918 to parents, Benjamin and Gladys Crandall. She passed away on July 16, 2011, at the age of 92.

Jean lived the majority of her life in Chico. She married in 1947 to Rollo Clifford Parker and they had two children. She worked in retail for many years as a bakery clerk. Jean enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and fishing.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rollo and their son, Ben Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Caryl Gerfen of Sacramento; two granddaughters, Marti Santana of Plumas Lake and Dusty Gerfen of West Sacramento, along with great-grandchildren Brianna, Michael, Victoria and Gabriel.

Caryl I remember going to your house when we were in High School and seeing your mom. She seemed so nice. i remember you, Carla, Cheryl and I crowded into the bathroom while you were taking a bath! I have been think about you and wondering where you were. Diane Barbara (Stringfellow) 530 519 6765
