Clare Casey Boyce

Clare Casey Boyce passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Henry Boyce. Mother of Valli B. Lopez (Robert) and Jacquelyn B. Busby (Donald). Grandmother of Rebecca L. Francis, Robert Lopez, II (Tracy), and Jack Perniciaro (Cheri). Great-grandmother of Andrew, Dylan, Seth, Daniel, James, Casey, Elaina, Josiah, Robbie, Chelsea, Christina, Ariel, Nathan, Anthony, Tayler, and Jackson. Daughter of the late Emmett L. Casey and Vallery Fath Casey. Sister of the late Iris Casey, Ruth C. Heitmeier (Godfrey), and Faye C. Lucas (Edward). Aunt of Peppi Bruneau, Casey Heitmeier, Godfrey Heitmeier, Jr., Guy Heitmeier, Edward Lucas, and Kieran Grey. Age 96 years and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Clare was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy class of 1938 and worked for Adler's Jewelers for 22 years. She was active in the Algiers AARP Chapter 3975. Faithful parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and member of the SAGES and Ladies Guild. Also member of Aurora Garden Club, three Algiers Bridge Clubs, and Friends of JoEllen Smith Hospital. Special thanks to the staff of Canon hospice for their care and support, especially Christina, Terri, Brenda, Paulette, Donna, and Dr. Graves, as well as Pastor Barb and Deacon Dan. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton St., Algiers, LA on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 9 AM until mass time at 11 AM.
