Family and Friends -On Friday Jan.18th at 12.30 pm ,I fulfilled my Dad's wishes by spreading his ashes and dropping his granite monument in the Gulf of Mexico at a specified Latitude /Longitude.The same spot he and I took Brenda just 3 years prior. The location is about 3 miles out from the #1 Marker at the entrance to the Steinhatchee River. If you are out that way ,say a prayer for him and Brenda -then do what he would want you to do -catch some fish!
My Thanks go out to Capt. Steve Kroll of the boat Anna Marie. This kind man on less than an hours notice took me out on a cold, gray day to get this accomplished. If you want a good guide and gentleman to go fishing out of Steinhatchee, look up Capt. Kroll on pepperfishkey.com
He has the Lat/Long to take you right where my Dad and Brenda are resting.

Patsy, I was sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I have fond memories of growing up around the corner from you and your family, and your dad was the best vet I ever knew.

To the children of Buddy and Brenda Bromley. You had very special parents, and you blessed them. Tom and I first found Buddy in Brunswick, GA when our beagle hound, Cletus was attacked by a dog at the beach. The dog suffered a huge tear to the scalp and Buddy fixed it so well it was never even visible. And then to our delight and surprise, he not only moved to Atlanta, but close to our home where he cared for all our pets until he and Brenda moved to Florida. That was 54 years ago and I'm still taking my pets, which have grown in number through the years, to Northside Drive Pet Hospital which the Bromleys founded. I mourn both friends. With profound sympathy for your loss, Patsy Dickey

Dr. "B" as I called him, even though I met him after he retired and moved to Steinhatchee, was a pleasure to have on my UPS route. He and Ms "B" ordered quite a bit of things which required me to drive down that long road to the river at least 2 times a week. I didn't mind, they always greeted me with a warm smile and an offer for something cold to drink or warm to drink, depending on the time of year. Everytime I left their place I always thought of my grandfather. Dr. "B" just seemed like the grandfatherly type. My heart goes out to you the family,
but I know Heaven and Ms. "B" are rejoicing to see him finally come home.
