Mr. Avant gave my brother Jesus Garber a job at KAGB 50 years ago and that helped bring our family out of poverty, thank you Mr. Avant for your countless contributions to so many people! RIP sir

I only just learned of him through the Netflix documentary. I was so moved and in such awe of Mr. Avant. He was a great man who helped so many and touched so many lives. My sincerest of prayers and condolences to his children on the loss of both of their parents. May his wonderful legacy be everlasting.

My deepest condolences to the Avant Family. I just learned about Mr. Avant through the Netflix Documentary about him. He was an extraordinary man and I am moved by his life and legacy.
