We would sing together all the time when I was a young girl.. His favorite was don't cry Joni by Conway Twitty and his daughter. He also liked to sing On the Other Hand by Randy Travis. That's one thing we both enjoyed was old school country music. When I got a little older he would always get me on stage with the band that was playing at The Elks club or Whereber we were then I would sing Lukinbock Texas by Waylon Jennings he loved to watch me sing that song up there. I'm so thankful he got me into music I enjoyed it all my life and it makes me think of him. Especially when I hear Don't cry Joni. . I also sang in the church choir and learned so many beautiful songs. Then I joined the school choirI learned so much from that class we had a great music teacher. We would performances and he put me right in the middle front and center because I had a strong soprano sound. I was always nervous as hell. I also got to Sing the Old Rugged Cross at this Church by myself acapella no music in front of a couple hundred people. It was a big Church in Ocala Fl our church was in Crystal River (Ozello) they recorded the performance and I git a standing ovation. My pastor was so proud and when I played for Dad he cried when he watched and I knew then he was very proud and it started with just a girl and her Dad singing some tunes.
