I am saddened to hear of Clarence's death. I knew him for only a short time but he was a man of faith and integrity. He and David Young installed a pipe organ at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Duluth, MN in 1994. Clarence made sure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. The organ was renamed the "Gould & Young Organ" at the inaugural concert in 1994. He will be missed.

Clarence was my boss in 1973 and 1983. He was a man of faith and integrity. In my 40 year career, he was my favorite employer. He was honest and fair and I will miss him dearly. In 1991 we went on a mission trip together to Indonesia. He never sought the limelight, he just wanted to serve his Lord and Master !

Clar was a devoted Christian who loved his family and the Lord. Knowing him since 1970, his faith never wavered and his passion for God's word remained constant. His inside spirit was mirrored by his outward behavior, i.e., he walked the talk. I will miss our chats because my day was always better afterward. God bless Marilyn and his family.

So sorry for the loss of Clarence. I had the privilege of growing up across the street from the Gould family. Once a small cabin now a beautiful house. Clarence was an amazing man and full of amazing stories. Rest in peace.

Dear Marilyn and family, Allan and I send our deepest sympathy. I haven't seen you two since your beautiful wedding as a teenager. As I have that picture in my mind, you have 66 years of blessed memories, pictures, forever. He is always with you. Your first cousin Anita

We are very sorry to learn about Clare's passing today. My wife and I will definitely miss his humor, fatherly discussions and his encouragement and support in our International Student Ministry. We believe he is resting with the Lord. May God Almighty give Marilyn peace and strength to bear this loss. Amen. Niran and Barbara Fadirepo

Hello Lee...This is an old high school buddy. Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I never met him. But I do remember you speaking of him and his wonderful profession. Sounds like he lived a very fine life and he's left a very nice legacy. God bless you and your family.

Clarence was a good friend of my Dad, Jack Grant from Sauk Centre. Dad died in 1984 so it has been a long time since I have seen Clarence but remember him very, very well. He helped Dad with pipe organ installations several times. He helped install the organ in our home in the 1950s. I will put up a photo taken in about 1958 of Dad at that organ. I was a kid but know what a great man Clarence was. I send my deep condolences to the family.
