Clarence Henderson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 4, 2025.
Clarence "Buck" Henderson passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on December 19, 2024, at Cape Coral Hospital in Florida. He was born on January 4, 1940, in Derry, Pennsylvania, and was a former resident of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, before fulfilling his dream and moving to Florida.

Buck dedicated 42 years of his life to Trumbull Corporation as a truck driver, retiring at the age of 60. In retirement, he cherished spending time with his family and enjoying life's simple pleasures. He found joy in playing cards, trying his luck with the lottery, competing in online Texas Hold'em, relaxing by the pool, and taking leisurely bike rides.

Buck is lovingly remembered by his three children: Cindy (Dave) Vickers of North Huntingdon, PA; Brian (Sharon) Henderson of Chester, MD; and Nikki (Joe) Durie of Cape Coral, FL. He is also survived by two granddaughters: Danielle (Keith) Howard of North Huntingdon, PA, and Brytnee (Cory) Wesolowski of Glassport, PA; as well as three great-grandchildren: Jake and Ella Howard and Brielle Wesolowski. Buck was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, whom he missed dearly.

A devoted family man with a selfless heart, Buck took pride in his family and always sought their happiness. His warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his family.

A graveside service will be held on January 9, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Penn Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in North Huntingdon, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to The American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 (800-227-2345).

May Buck's memory bring comfort to those who loved him.

So sorry for your loss of youre father. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at trumbull. Theres so many times, and places i can recall ! One that really stands out was on Ft Pitt Blvd .The teamsters trustees had just met that morning and lowered the retirement age to 60.I told Buck that day while he was delivering a backhoe to job , I believe he went in yard and gave notice ! He often would talk about spending more time with his wife Donna and family. I was so glad we kept in touch as he loved talking about the old days ,Times ,people, places! Rip my friend you will be missed, Thanks for the great memories!
