In memory of
Deierdre Jimerson
October 28, 2005
The prophet Isaiah tells us that the Lord will give to those who mourn, beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness and our family has found this to be true in the past few months. Although Dad has been with the Lord since February, our hearts still remember his love, our minds still reflect on his words of wisdom and they provide a great covering over our lives, for which we are grateful. As Tracy has stated, thank each of you for your prayers that sustained us and your presence that supported us during a very dark time. For those of you who knew Jim Jimerson, you know that he never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone. He left a legacy that his children and grandchildren will cherish until we see him again.
With Love,
Deierdre

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, support during our time of bereavement. Our father means more to us than any amount of words can ever say. I am thankful for those of you who have taken the time to sign this guestbook. I would really like for Marvin to e-mail me. I would love to hear from you.
May God continue to bless each and every one of you. Please continue to pray with and for us.

The moment Jim married my mother things changed. He turn my brothers into men, got me to where I am at today(Graduation), and made my mother very happy.
At first me and Jim never really saw eye to eye, but as the days and months, went by we became closer and closer to one another. I finally had a dad and the best part about it he always knew how to give me the right answers for everything.
I remeber my boyfriend telling me that only you can solve your problems, but it was different with Jim it was like he had all the answers to everything that went on in my life.
He was a big help to my family and especially my mother, because everyday my momma was happy becuase Jim kept a smile on her face, but now that he is gone that smiles is no longer there, but the memories and words of advice is still here.
"I miss you daddy, I miss my best friend."
Thank You for everything.

I just found out my Uncle passed away today, my prayers are with my family right now. I'm currently serving in the Air Force in England and won't be able to attend the funeral. I can remember my uncle being my biggest football fan. I could go 2 or 3 years without seeing him, but he would always ask me how football was going. When I needed a limousine for Prom, guess who was there for me my Uncle Big Jim. I love you and you will be truly missed.........

To Eld. Jimerson, Sis. Dorothy Jimerson, Darlene, Marvin and to the sons and daughters of Clarence, his wife, and other siblings and friends: to the Jimerson family, our prayers go out to each of you: Know that God is able to see you through. I remember Clarence being there for us, laying to rest our loved one, William Earl Thomas. Clarence was a class act, hard to follow. Many fond memories fill my heart of the old Stop Six Church on Katy Street, where we all grew up. Rest in peace "Jim" 'til we meet again. Much love and prayers.
