What a privilege it was to have Mr. Clarence Jones in our lives. Whether as a faithful parishioner, respected colleague, or one of the thousands of music pupils he inspired, Mr. Jones was as genuine and as kind a man as you could ever meet. The truest gentleman with a 1000 kilowatt smile. He had such a looming presence, out front, leading his students down the road to musical discovery. And I can still see the flowing artistry with that famous baton of his! How we all would have tested anyone's patience learning a new instrument, but Mr. Jones had such a commitment to us all & a deep passion for teaching, he was not so easily deterred. His faith and love of his family and his God saw to that. Rest in Peace Mr. Jones. Your legacy with us is already well composed Sir - you memory lives on in us who fell in love with music under your able watch. Thank you Thank you!

My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Jones and Tony and Chris. Mr. Jones, was a wonderful person, and band director with Carver Junior High, and other schools. ...with the biggest smile and warm greetings for everyone who came across his path. He made sure that people knew that he cared for them. His family, especially his sons were taught that respect and love for others. RIP Mr. Jones and thanks for the memories.

I wasn't in band when Mr. Jones taught at Carver Jr. High, so I never had the honor of being in his class. But, I did have opportunities to help him from time to time, and he was such a kind man. You could tell how much he loved his students and how eager he was to share his musical talent. I don't think I ever saw him when he didn't have a big and welcoming smile. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I was stunned to learn of Mr. Jones' passing. It hurt me tremendously. Mr. Jones was like a father to me. I'l never forget how he, Mr. Gibbs, and Mr. Smith came to the aid of my brother and I the summer before our senior year in high school. Clarence T. Jones will forever be in my heart and remembered as the caring, patient, loving man that he was. Rest In Paradise Mr. Jones until again, we shall meet!
