Clarence Sandor

My deepest sympathy to Carol and family and to the Sandor family. Clarence and I enjoyed many fun filled days in Twin Valley school and Glentworth and many laughs durng our school years,a very good pal,and I'll always remember my mom and dad thought the world of Clarence(Gerald and Winnie Mullin)

Clarence was special. A good man.

We baled hay together, (wore out this city boy). Picked potatoes. Every visit was a special one. My visits were few over the years but they were all great.

I am so sorry to learn of Uncle Clarence death. I will always remember the last visit we had and you were all so wonderful and hospitable. I really wish we could have been closer to all of you. But distance can't change the fact that you are family and we share your pain and loss. Our hearts go out to you. Love, Denise

My mom sent in her condolunce saying are heart's are heavy, I will take that a step further and say they hurt. I see Uncle Clarence with that smile on his face. He always had that smile, weather he was out working in the fields, or just relaxing with familly or friends. The only time I saw him with out a smile was in 1986 at grandma's funeral. a group of us (Melisa, Keith, Darla and me) were staying at Clarence and Carol's over night for the funeral. While everyone else was in Assiniboia, we were at Clarence's house...we decieded to walk into Glentworth and go to the Royal Hotel....Rhonda stopped buy to say she was going into whatever town it was to get chicken wings. We soon left after that (I think they threw us out) Clarence found us in glentworth and gave us a ride back..(no smile) we all kept pretty quite in the truck, he droped us off and thank goodness Rhonda showed up with in minutes we all quietly wen't to bed..than we got that smile when he knew that we were all safe. the last time he came to Detroit was for Betty's funeral,(which met so much to us here.) After the funeral I took Clarence and Aunt Lillian to Casino Windsor..Lillian and I did nothing there, but Clarence won enough to pay for his trip, and ther was that smile. Even though we got a good rebuke from Aunt Julie because we did not take her. After we left Windsor we took the tunnel back to Detroit, while waiting to go through Customs he shared a story with me on how when he was 18 he flew to Windsor to come and see is Sister Betty, he got to U S Immigration and knew nothing but her telephone number. So Immigration called and Grandpa Bill had to drive down to the tunnel and pick him up, Betty was smiling to see her baby brother, but at first grandpa Bill was not..



My first memory of Uncle Clarence was when I was 7 years old..We were staying on the farm, and one morning He came walking in the kitchen with that big smile. He was taking a tractor back to his place, and gave me and my sister a ride. From that moment forward I wanted to be a farmer. ( it was not until years later that I discovered that I would get dirt under my finger nails, so that dream wen't out the window) Carol, Rachelle and Rhonda my heart goes out to you,are grief is very real here in Michigan but it cannot compare to what you are going through. So I send you my love..and hopefully I can be out there this spring. I smile every time I think of his smile and laughter especialy when it was at my expenese. You are in all our thoughts and prayers........and I hope to see you all soon.

I'am so sorry for your loss he will be missed. He was my youngest Uncle and when we came to visit when I was 16 he was so much fun. I wish I could have seen more of him thru the years. But its just to far away.Please remember my thoughts and love are with you. Carolyn

Our hearts are very heavy here. Uncle Clarence was a very special person. I have fond memories of the farm and when he came to visit us in Michigan. Your hospitality was over whelming during our visit after My Moms death when we came for the family reunion. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
