I am simply a viewer of the episode of Modern Family that memorialized your son ... After seeing his name in the end credits, I Googled him and came across this obituary.
I noticed that he was, at the time of his passing, the same age as my youngest, a daughter, who has lit up my world for the same number of years that your Clarke did yours.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I empathize with your loss and I hope that at this time you can take comfort from another parent who is thinking of you and who will say a little prayer for you before I go to sleep tonight.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Luke, Cynthia and family ... I just learned today that Clark passed away in November. I am so sad to hear about your loss and pray for God's comfort to all of you. Luke, from our conversation over coffee a few years back, I remember how you described Clark's amazing courage in dealing with the cancer and your love and admiration for him shone so brightly. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
May God's peace and understanding keep Clark and you in His loving embrace, now and always.

Cynthia and Luke,
Rebecca (Reed) Clark let me know of your loss and told me how poignant the service was. I am so sorry you and your family have had to deal with this. Please know that I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Although we haven't talked in about 25 years or so, I still remember you and your family fondly and wish you comfort and peace.
