Every time I look at the Crystal Hills Drive hill by my house I think of Claude trucking along with a smile and a greeting. We are doing a lot for Veterans with our Miss6on Veterans Support Group -- Claude would really have enjoyed the outreach effort for our Veterans. Honor and Respect Dear Friend

I remember our walks along Crystal Hills Drive, your being cheerful every time. You offered to help me set up an American Legion Post here in Athens, which never happened through no fault of ours. So many meaningful events between us. Lord Jesus hold Claude's tender soul in your gentle hands. Peace

What a great man. He and Charlotte were dear friends of my parents and my family and he was always helpful giving me advice in my banking career. We will miss them both.

Lynn and Sandy, I'm so sorry to learn of both of your parents passing so close together. Your parents were such special people full of love and warmth - and made everyone who met them feel very important. The one consolation is that they are together again, which is what they would have wanted.
God bless and comfort your family.

I first met Claude Williams at a billboard Convention in Atlanta in 1964, when I was 22 years old and just beginning my billboard career. He and I became fast friends and my mentor over the next several years and always loved getting together at all the meetings and conventions. When I quit my job with Creative Displays in 1973 i called him and asked him if he would sell me the Macon Ga company...he offered me a job managing that company and told me if he ever sold it he would call me...4 years later he did just that and even personally financed 1/2 of the purchase price so I could make the deal. Claude was a true man of his word; and a man to emulate. I will always be grateful for his relationship and the kindness and interest he always showed to me. Charlie Renfroe Atlanta, Georgia.

Dear Sandy,Lynn and the entire Family: Claude was an exceptional person in every manner in life. He set the bar high in every endeavor that he undertook throughout his decades in business, deacon at First Baptist, community activities and fund raisers, supporter of Georgia sports and the University and especially his family and the nuclear family. All through the years, I loved getting together with Claude and talking about business,Georgia and life. He was always interesting to listen too on many subjects. You will be in our prayers and thoughts in the coming months. Claude will be missed sorely by me and all that knew or were effected by his service to others. "Keep the Faith"
