Claudia Buchen

Claudia Jean Buchen passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 77 in Bothell, WA. Born in Seattle on October 28, 1947, Claudia's life was marked by her unwavering strength, her infectious humor, and her profound capacity for love.

She was a single mother who, for over 36 years, worked full-time at Cenveo (originally Griffin Envelope). Her colleagues not only found a dedicated coworker but also a friend who could always be counted on for a good chuckle and a listening ear.

Claudia found much joy in simple pleasures - she was an avid player of card and board games, she loved country music (particularly Dolly Parton and John Denver), classic TV shows, and reading.

Claudia had a knack for lightening the load of life with her humor and heartfelt care. Her sense of humor was a gift that she shared generously, bringing smiles to those around her even in the most trying of times. Above all, Claudia was loving - a love that knew no bounds and was felt deeply by her family and friends.

Though Claudia's final years were shadowed by the challenges of Alzheimer's and Congestive Heart Failure, her spirit remained undimmed. She faced these obstacles with determination, bravery and (of course) humor.

Her legacy is carried on by her cherished only daughter, Christina Williams, her son-in-law, Drake Williams, and her many cousins, who each held a special place in her heart.

As we bid farewell to Claudia, let us remember that her story does not end here; it continues in each life she touched, each smile she inspired, and every moment of kindness she shared. Claudia's life reminds us that the true measure of success is not in the wealth we accumulate, but in the love we spread and the joy we bring to others.
